The newsletter also includes a summary of the transportation safety plan recently updated for the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming. The plan may provide guidance for other reservations looking to develop or update their own safety plans.

    The presentations from the second National Tribal Road Maintenance Symposium, held May 5–7, 2026, in Rapid City, South Dakota, are now available online. More than 220 individuals from twenty-one states attended the event, which featured exhibitors and sponsors and offered valuable information on federal road maintenance programs and best practices for Tribal governments. We thank all participants, organizers, exhibitors, sponsors, and partners for their contributions.
